Welcome! My name is Sharon Banham from the North Norfolk town of Fakenham. I am a mother of 2 with a passion for the care and education of children. I have experience in caring for a broad age range of children. I pride myself in offering a reliable and professional childcare service, with flexibility to meet the varied needs as children grow and develop. All children in my care are treated as individuals and appropriate activities are incorporated into daily routines to stimulate and entertain them. I am committed to further training to improve my knowledge in childcare and hope to begin the NVQ level 3 in childcare soon
Insurance
I am a member of the NCMA and hold my public liability insurance through them.
I hold a full clean driving licence and I am insured for business use. All children travelling on my car are in appropriate child seats. Facilities on offer
We have an enclosed and safe rear garden with a wide variety of appropriate play equipment.
Indoors we strive to make our home as welcoming and comfortable for children as it is for adults.
We have a wide range of activities and equipment to stimulate and educate as well as creative materials for drawing, painting & writing. Music is available through instruments and audio equipment.
A large collection of books for all ages is easily accessible and is boosted by regular trips to the library.
A dedicated eating area for all meals and snacks, high chairs and booster seats are used when needed.
Travel cots or day beds are provided for naps, with individual bedding for each child.
A downstairs toilet for all toileting/potty training needs.
Buggies or a tandem pushchair for outdoor trips.
A television is available; I believe selected viewing is beneficial however I do not include this on a daily basis.
A computer is also available; all children will have the opportunity to use age appropriate websites or pc programmes. |
